The Story Behind Grace + Oil Collective

Hi, I’m Ashley! Wife, mama, homeschooler, retired Registered Dental Hygienist, and the woman behind Grace + Oil Collective.

What started as my own journey toward creating a healthier home has grown into a collection of handmade products I genuinely love, use and share with others.

Here you'll find my small-batch wellness + beauty products, essential oil blends, one-of-a-kind faith-inspired diffuser bracelets, and information about upcoming Grace + Oil events and make + takes.

How It All Started

My introduction to essential oils actually began years ago while I was in Dental Hygiene school, but my journey into natural wellness really changed when I became pregnant with my son nine years ago.

Suddenly, I wasn't only thinking about myself anymore.

I started paying closer attention to the ingredients in the products we used every day, what I was putting on and in my body, and what I was bringing into our home.

And once I started learning... I couldn't unlearn it. 

Over the years, I've slowly swapped many of the conventional products in our home for options I feel better about using around my family.

And I want to emphasize slowly.

I didn't throw everything away overnight. I learned, researched, made one change, then another—and I'm still learning today.

Along the way, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of other women and families begin making simple swaps of their own.

How Grace + Oil Collective Was Born

For years, I made my own essential oil rollers, serums and wellness products for myself, friends and family.

And for years, people kept telling me:

“You should sell these!”

Eventually, I listened. 🤍

Grace + Oil Collective became a way for me to bring together so many things I love—natural wellness, essential oils, creating beautiful handmade products, faith and community.

Every product I create is made in small batches and is something I would genuinely use myself or share with the people I love.

The Heart Behind It

If there's one thing I've learned over the last nine years, it's that wellness doesn't have to be all-or-nothing.

You don't need to replace everything in your home overnight or do everything perfectly.

Start with one thing. Then another.

Those little swaps add up.

That's really the heart behind Grace + Oil Collective: making natural wellness + low-tox living feel simple and attainable for everyday women and families.
